What is Bookbucks?

Bookbucks is an independent company whose business model was developed by a small group of undergraduate and graduate students attending the Peter Kiewit Institute of Information Science, Technology & Engineering at the University of Nebraska - Omaha. A spin-off company from Dundee Media & Technology, Inc., a local Omaha web-development and network services firm, BookBucks was originally conceived by Jeff Henrichs, president of DM&T, while a student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.

BookBucks enables students and faculty to greatly expand their network base, provides a real-time forum for issues important on the campus or in their lives, effortlessly connects students and faculty within institutions, related geographic regions, or specific academic fields to one another, and - most importantly - finally offers a channel in which these buyers and sellers can get the most bang for their textbook dollar.
